About Us

At GroundUp, we deploy a bottom-up approach with grassroots to scale their conservation successes. We do this by building their organisation, designing self-sustaining programs, and cultivating local businesses, all the while adopting a no harm approach to Nature.

Through our ongoing work on wetland conservation, responsible tourism in the high Himalayas, and conserving grassland ecosystems, GroundUp is already demonstrating the potential for grassroots conservation efforts, where conservation, livelihood and technology thrive together and support local communities.
